This organisation provides mental health and wellbeing support, information and services to young people and their families across Australia.

Kids Helpline – Teens
This is a free and confidential 24-hour counselling service for young people aged 5-25 years. Counselling is offered by phone or email and online. Phone 1800 551 800, 24 hours, 7 days.

MindMatters
This is a mental health initiative for secondary schools that aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people.

Reach Out – Mental health issues

Reach Out – Parents coaching
Reach Out offers free online coaching to parents and carers of teenagers. If you’re worried about your relationship with your teenage child, or worried about your child’s wellbeing or behaviour, coaching can give you strategies to help.

Children’s Health Queensland – Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) community clinics
Young people in Brisbane experiencing mental health issues can be referred to the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS). Talk to your GP or school counsellor, or contact your nearest community clinic.

South Australia

SA Women’s and Children’s Health Network – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)

Tasmania

Tasmanian Department of Health and Human Services – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
